SimPraxis™ a new approach to teaching medical procedures
Red Llama, Inc has developed an engine to create interactive, cognitive simulators for teaching medical procedures (patent pending). The simulators can be installed from a CD or DVD onto a standard computer, and requires only a mouse for interaction. This realistic, interactive experience has a wide range of uses, and can apply to many branches of medicine. Users feel as though they are performing the procedure themselves by working with real images and putting proper tools to use. Users get instant feedback, providing an almost game-like experience.

Inspiring low-income youth through technological creativity
Red Llama, Inc. teaches classes for low-income teens that use exciting, cutting-edge technologies to inspire these students to consider careers in technology. With funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Medina Foundation, and the City of Seattle Neighborhood Matching Fund, we are building exciting projects using Augmented Reality technology, where 3D models created by students appear in a real, live scene.
